FATI SET TO RETURN FOR PRE-SEASON TRAINING WITH BARCELONA

In what appears to be a huge piece of news for Barcelona, attacker Ansu Fati will reportedly mark his return from injury by returning to the Camp Nou and will train with the team ahead of the pre-season preparations later this month. Fati has been quite unlucky with injuries in the last couple of months and has had to undergo several surgeries as he has continued to look fr a permanent solution to the niggling injury problems that have constantly posed a threat to his young career. However, with the latest reports claiming that he will be returning to the pitch to train with his fellow Barcelona teammates, it’s a huge boost to Barcelona and the player’s confidence.

Fati will now be hoping that he can stay injury-free so he can start the 2021-22 Spanish La Liga season with Barcelona as he will look to try and help the club win more titles next season. Although he has been out injured, Fati has been having interviews about the current ongoing at the club and his future at the Camp Nou as well. In one of his recent sessions, the Spain international youngster revealed that he is currently working hard to make a strong comeback from his injury problems and also looks to become a key member of the team.

BARCELONA COMPLETE ANOTHER MAJOR SUMMER SIGNING

Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona have once again proved that they are taking transfer businesses seriously after completing another major summer transfer deal. According to Fabrizio Romano, a trusted football transfer expert, the Spanish giants have finally wrapped up the Memphis Depay deal and the Netherlands international attacker has already finalized the deal with the club. Depay left French Ligue 1 side, Lyon, last season by mutual consent after insisting that he would not sign a new deal with the club with the idea of sealing a big move to a top club in Europe.

Since that piece of news broke out, a lot of clubs across Europe created a queue in accordance to how interested they were in signing the former Manchester United man and Barcelona were the ones who topped the list. Barca already started negotiations with the attacker before the end of the previous campaign as they struggled to find a common ground with the player based on personal terms and salary.

BARCELONA PLANNING MAJOR SQUAD OVERHAUL THIS SUMMER

It seems like there is a large number of players that are expected to be heading for the exit door at the Camp Nou this summer, according to various sources. Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has reportedly grown frustrated with some of the players in his squad and will reportedly trim the team’s number as he wants to continue to build his team capable of challenging for major titles next season.

A lot of Barcelona players have been criticized for their lack of zeal and desire to play for the club in recent times and it looks as though they will finally be losing their spot in the team. There could be as many as 14 players that will be leaving Barca this summer, with the majority of those stars either nearing the latter years of their career or not showing enough quality to represent the Catalan giants.

NEYMAR NOT EXPECTED TO MAKE BARCELONA RETURN

Brazilian superstar Neymar is no longer expected to return to his former club, Barcelona, according to various reports. Neymar signed for the Catalan giants some years ago from Brazilian club FC Santos after making a name for himself as a tricky and talented player. After joining the Spanish La Liga giants, he went on to become a great star and announced himself on the biggest stage. He formed a deadly partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the club and scored a couple of goals as well.

However, he became unsettled at Barca and handed in a transfer request some years later to join French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. One of the major reasons that he reportedly left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain is because he wanted to move out of Messi’s shadow and try to realize his dream of winning the Ballon d’Or as well.

BARCELONA JOIN RACE TO SIGN GRAVENBERCH

The race to sign Ajax wonderkid Ryan Gravernberch has continued to hot up as Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona have reportedly joined a long queue of clubs who want to snap up the young star this summer. Sometime last month it was reported that English Premier League clubs Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City were all interested in signing him, but the competition is hotting up with Barca now joining the list.

Barcelona Reportedly Preparing For A Possible Busy Summer

Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are expected to have a very busy summer transfer window as they look to add some fresh legs and new faces to the squad in a bid to compete for major trophies next season. The Catalan giants need a couple of additions to the squad and one of the areas where manager Ronald Koeman wants to strengthen is the attacking department. Koeman has reportedly told the club’s new president Laporta that he wants Erling Haaland as his first signing this summer and he has gotten the green light for the transfer discussions to start as soon as possible.

Barca allowed Luis Suarez to leave the club in the summer and he joined the club’s direct rivals Atletico Madrid in what was a shocking transfer move. Suarez has since flourished under Diego Simeone and is in the running of end the season as one of the highest goalscorers in the La Liga this season.

PSG vs Barcelona – Team News, Match Preview And Predictions

It will take nothing less of a miracle for Barcelona to progress to the next round of the UEFA Champions League given the current scoreline that separates the two teams. French giants Paris Saint-Germain welcome the Catalan heavyweights to the Parc des Princes in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 encounter, with the French club already 4-1 up after dealing with Barca at the Camp Nou.

For Barcelona, Gerard Piqué, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, Philippe Coutinho, and Sergi Roberto are all out of the clash. While for Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar has been ruled out with an injury, with Juan Bernat and Moise Kean the other players who will be absent. PSG WANT BARCELONA ACADEMY GRADUATE

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are reportedly keen to sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerinthis summer. This is according to the report from CBS Sports, which revealed that PSG would go back to the Gunners with another offer for the Barcelona Academy graduate after their pursuit of the Spaniard was rebuffed by Arsenal last summer. It was disclosed that Arsenal turned down an offer of €35m for Hector Bellerin before the current season started.

The aforementioned publication from CBS Sports said that Barcelona Academy graduate Hector Bellerin is ready for a change of scenery after a decade in North London. Hector Bellerin has struggled to perform at a premium level for the Gunners since he recovered from a serious knee injury at the start of last season and he could benefit from a change of clubs. Hector Bellerin was linked with a return to Barcelona last year in addition to the interest from PSG. It seems like PSG are the only team left in the chase forthe Barcelona Academy graduate. This is mainly due to the lack of finances at Barcelona.

Ronald Koeman refuses to concede defeat in title race

Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman claims that the club can still win the La Liga title from this position after his team managed a 3-2 victory against Athletic Bilbao in the Wednesday meeting. Barcelona made a disastrous start to the season and they appeared to be out of the running for the La Liga title. Now, the latest victory coupled with other results going their way means that Barcelona are only seven points away from Atletico Madrid. However, it should be stressed that Diego Simeone’s team have two games in hand and they could pull out with a 13 point advantage.


The latest win over Athletic Bilbao means that Barcelona’s unbeaten run now stands at seven matches in all competitions. The last defeat suffered by Barcelona in any competition came against Juventus in the Champions League. Ronald Koeman watched his team lose 3-0 at the Camp Nou in one of the worst results for the team in recent memory. However, they have bounced back extremely well from the loss. The last four games have produced three victories and a draw for Barcelona. The last league title picked up by the club was back in the 2018-19 season, while the last Champions League success came in 2014-15. BARCELONA SQUAD FOR GRANADA REVEALED

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has named the squad for the Granada game in the Spanish La Liga. Ronald Koeman and his Barcelona players would be the guests of Granada in one of the matchday 18 encounters in the Spanish top flight this term. Ronald Koeman has unveiled a 22-man squad for the game scheduled to take place on Saturday evening. Ronald Koeman don’t have a new injury to worry about from the last game at Athletic Bilbao in midweek ahead of the Granada match though French defender Christian Lenglet will miss the game after accumulatingfive yellow cards.

Ronald Koeman has named the trio of Marc Andre TerStegen, Neto and Inaki Pena as his goalkeepers. The Dutch tactician has revealed six defenders as part of his squad for the trip to face Granada.
