AC Milan star Kessie will most likely leave the Italian club on a free transfer next summer with the Rossoneri struggling to convince the player to sign a new contract at the club.

Tottenham Hotspur have been strongly linked with a move for Kessie as new manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Ivorian international. Italian tactician Conte is the new man in the Spurs dugout after his appointment was confirmed earlier in the week. He was the man appointed to replace NunoEspirito Santo in the Tottenham Hotspur dugout after the ex-Wolves manager was sacked by the club shortly after the 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

The arrival of Kessie at Tottenham Hotspur will likely lead to the exit of Barcelona target Ndombele. Frenchman Ndombele became the most expensive player in Spurs history when he moved from French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon to North London two years ago.

A lot of players have been linked with Spurs since Conte was named the new manager. The Italian tactician has put pen to paper on an 18-month deal until the summer of 2023 and with the option to extend his contract afterwards.

Conte began his reign at Tottenham Hotspur with a dramatic 3-2 home victory overDutch team Vitesse Arnhem in the European Conference League. Spurs raced into a three-goal lead in the first half, but they had to hold on in the end after conceding two goals. There were three red cards in the game with two going to the away side.
