PSG WANT BARCELONA ACADEMY GRADUATE

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are reportedly keen to sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerinthis summer. This is according to the report from CBS Sports, which revealed that PSG would go back to the Gunners with another offer for the Barcelona Academy graduate after their pursuit of the Spaniard was rebuffed by Arsenal last summer. It was disclosed that Arsenal turned down an offer of €35m for Hector Bellerin before the current season started.

The aforementioned publication from CBS Sports said that Barcelona Academy graduate Hector Bellerin is ready for a change of scenery after a decade in North London. Hector Bellerin has struggled to perform at a premium level for the Gunners since he recovered from a serious knee injury at the start of last season and he could benefit from a change of clubs. Hector Bellerin was linked with a return to Barcelona last year in addition to the interest from PSG. It seems like PSG are the only team left in the chase forthe Barcelona Academy graduate. This is mainly due to the lack of finances at Barcelona.

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerinis the vice-captain to club skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang at the club but that has not stopped fans from criticisingthe Barcelona Academy graduate as a result of his inconsistent form this season. Hector Bellerin would be hoping to improve his form between now and the end of the season as the Gunners chase glory in the Europa League. Arsenal have a second leg to navigate against Portuguese giants Benficain the last 32 of the competition. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw and the second leg would see the Gunners as the home team. At least a goalless draw would be enough to see Hector Bellerin and his Arsenal teammates through to the round of 16 of the competition.
