Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona have once again proved that they are taking transfer businesses seriously after completing another major summer transfer deal. According to Fabrizio Romano, a trusted football transfer expert, the Spanish giants have finally wrapped up the Memphis Depay deal and the Netherlands international attacker has already finalized the deal with the club. Depay left French Ligue 1 side, Lyon, last season by mutual consent after insisting that he would not sign a new deal with the club with the idea of sealing a big move to a top club in Europe.
Since that piece of news broke out, a lot of clubs across Europe created a queue in accordance to how interested they were in signing the former Manchester United man and Barcelona were the ones who topped the list. Barca already started negotiations with the attacker before the end of the previous campaign as they struggled to find a common ground with the player based on personal terms and salary. Brazilian superstar Neymar is no longer expected to return to his former club, Barcelona, according to various reports. Neymar signed for the Catalan giants some years ago from Brazilian club FC Santos after making a name for himself as a tricky and talented player. After joining the Spanish La Liga giants, he went on to become a great star and announced himself on the biggest stage. He formed a deadly partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the club and scored a couple of goals as well.
However, he became unsettled at Barca and handed in a transfer request some years later to join French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. One of the major reasons that he reportedly left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain is because he wanted to move out of Messi’s shadow and try to realize his dream of winning the Ballon d’Or as well. For Barcelona, Gerard Piqué, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, Philippe Coutinho, and Sergi Roberto are all out of the clash. While for Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar has been ruled out with an injury, with Juan Bernat and Moise Kean the other players who will be absent.
